HIGHSTREET TREND: FELT

Felting is a process where natural wool fibres are rubbed and pushed together with a little soapy water. As the fibres move backwards and forwards, they gradually hook onto each other and bond tightly together.

Often thought of as a home craft, felting has made a huge impression on the highstreet with big brands such as John Lewis introducing a Christmas range made out of the stuff.
